Over the years, my career has led me to a variety of destinations and photographic subjects. I have been on photographic assignments that have taken me to a number of countries, including Austria, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Australia, and extensively throughout the United States as well.As a result of my excursions, and through an early phase of my career with the Michigan Senate, I have accumulated a vast collection of thousands of images of people, locations, and activities from all over the world. I provide photography services in a number of areas. My portraiture business includes high school seniors, families, children, business, engagement and environmental, and to date, I have photographed hundreds of weddings. I also provide photographic services for a variety of publications, such as annual reports, magazines and brochures.

I have photographed a number of prominent individuals, including Presidents Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush and Bill Clinton, Vice President Dick Cheney; Michigan Governors John Engler and Jennifer Granholm; sports celebrities Bill Laimbeer and Kareem Abdul Jabaar; actress Suzanne Somers; and various personalities in the music world, including Three Dog Night, Burton Cummings, Michael McDonald, Nick Lachey, Alice Cooper, Nick Cannon, Ryan Cabrera and ZZ Top.The skills I have honed from this wide variety of photographic experience have led me to a successful business in which photography is not just a job, but a source of personal pride as well.

Having worked as a "traditional" photographer for a number of years, my philosophy has developed into one that blends creativity with conventionality, reality with imagination, and seriousness with enjoyment. The result is what photography really should be: a reflection of the substance of a person, event, or location. With my personal approach and the incredible technology now available, the sky is the limit when it comes to photography!
